A Study on the Relationship between Mening of Life and Mental, Physical Symptoms of Middle-aged Women

Abstract
|
|
|
This study was attempted to examine the relationship between meaning of life and mental, physical symptoms of middle-aged women.
To gain the aims, the survey was performed at J city and the subjects were 116 middleaged women. The data were collected using the questionnare and were analyzed by percentage, mean, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient.
The results were summarized as follows:
1. The total mean score of CMI in respondents was 36.1.
2. There, was no significant difference between CMI score and general characteristics of middle-aged women.
3. There was no significant difference between PIL score and general characteristics of middle-aged women.
4. The correlation between meaning of life and mental, physical symptoms was statistically significant (?y = -0.1864, P < 0.05).
